Regular Season

"California Rules" apply for Bronco and Pony leagues only during regular season. If at the end of regulation play and the score is tied, then one inning of "California Rules" will be played. If at the end of this inning and the score remains tied, then the final outcome of the game will be recorded as a tie.

Tournament

During tournament games a winner must be declared to move on. If at the end of regulation play and the score is tied, then "California Rules" innings will continue to be played until a winner is declared.

California Rules
  1. Each team gets the opportunity to be on offense (gets to bat).

  2. Last recorded out starts on second base.

  3. One out will be recorded to start the inning so each team will only have two outs to start the inning.
